Be Flexible With Income Making Techniques

I can never predict what Goofblogger will write about next. He keeps me guessing.

Blogging in essence is a fluid process. It has to evolve in order to continue growing. If it stays static,  visitors will slowly become bored because it will be too predictable. You have to surprise your clientele. How would you like to read the same book over and over and over ? Give them something that they are not expecting. Say something completely off base to stir things up.

Advertising is the same. It is has to evolve to grow and have an impact. If you stick with the same methods and never switch around your ads or banners, people will be able to tune them out. You have to do the expected to get results. Sometimes the best results are not appearing because of  poor placement or structure. You cannot keep doing the same thing all the time and expect different results. Remember, that the definition of insanity is ‘doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results’. Do not become one of those insane bloggers. Change your tactics periodically.

On at least a monthly basis, do a quick analysis of your income generators, and weed out the lowest performers. Add in some new income contenders. You are probably wondering where you will find these fresh techniques. It takes some work, but the process is a fun one. Read numerous blogs on a daily basis. Subscribe to RSS feeds. I am not talking about just 3-5 blogs, push it to dozens of blogs. Focus in on the ones that are in your niche and branch out from there. The newest affiliate systems are the ones that are the easiest to get approved with before they become saturated with applicants.
