Begging to Guest Blog to Drive Traffic To Your Blog

If you want to guest blog, present yourself in your best light.

No need to beg online for anything.  You just have to ask correctly. Also, if the response for guest blogging is no, be OK with that and move on.  If you are a regular commenter on a certain site, your chances of guest blogging for that blogger are higher. The way that you approach the blogger is not by sucking up to them. Do not start a series of back and forth emails that go no where. Write a great post and send to the blogger and ask if they can post it to their blog as a guest post.

We all now that time is limited and precious while blogging. The more time that we can spend on posting and marketing the better for the bottom line. Make it easy for blogger. If you have been commenting on a regular basis on their site they will be more familiar to your style. Once they have the post, do not pressure them to publish it. Expect them to edit it grammatically so that they are satisfied their readers will appreciate it. You can also expect them to limit the number of times a link back to your site appears within the post. More than twice is a little much.

Bloggers sometimes will invite guest posters to their blog. If they are busy updating other blogs that they may own or are taking vacation, having a guest blogger is great. Later on, if you have already guest blogged, the owner of the blog may even pay you to fill in for them.

Being a guest blogger can be very powerful. Make sure that your content is unique and relates to the niche. Add a link to an internal page on the blog to tie to the blog. The traffic generated to your own blog will be based on the style or the level of appreciation of the post. Having an ad on someone’s blog is great also, but this gives others a better idea of your perspective and method of getting certain points across.
