Traffic Equals Money, Money Equals Traffic

marketing….uuumm, sure !

My marketing plan may sound slightly bizarre. Nevertheless, here it comes. For the first six months of this blog, I will be reinvesting 100% of the revenue directly back into the site. About half of that amount will be given out to my future readers and subscribers in the form of contests. The remaining amount will go towards ads on other sites and also having a real human programmer revamp my site as it grows and grows. So, I suggest that you keep a close eye on this newbie bloggy wog. You may become one of the lucky contest winners. At the start the contests will be small in dollar amount, but that will grow.

I fully realize that the money doesn’t start appearing until the traffic is at a good and constant level. Nah, I plan on skipping that step for now. I will start off with tiny goofblogger contests to spur on the readership level. I am not sure how well that will work initially, but blog marketing and great money making blogs have to be able to evolve and learn from their mistakes. Hard to make mistakes unless you try some different tactics.

    I do not agree with you saying money in the traffic and traffic in the money :)
    there is traffic and traffic, you can get huge traffic to any website with no sales! we need buyers not visitors, unless your website or blog is just for fun.

    I understand what you are getting at Abdou. That is why my contests will be low in dollar amount ( in the beginning ). Hopefully, these incentives will draw in repeat visitors. Afterwards, as more revenue comes in, I will toss it back into the site.

    Hi,
    I really did not get the idea. I am reading revenue are coming , will flow, how this will be achieved friend??
    adsense? do not think will flow more than few cents a day.
    the contest you are talking about will bring fighters not real readers, those who will land here for only the incentive are opportunities hunters not buyers, either repeated visitors, this is my opinion just to share :)

    Adbou, I agree that some people will just bounce in and out of the contest posts. However, the opportunity hunters will return for more opportunities in the future. Overtime , they will pick up tidbits of information that will help them to personally make money online also.

    I appreciate your comments. It is always nice to have different perspectives to analyze.
