Goal To Increase Ranking In Search Engines

Anchor text is extremely important for search engine optimization !

I have another goal that I wish to accomplish. One of my websites that I had purchased from someone is currently appearing in the 11th position in a google search for a certain keyword phrase. This particular keyword phrase is directly related to the theme of this website. If I were to appear near the top of page one, I know that the revenue will increase greatly. The website is generating income currently that is satisfactory, but I know that it has the potential to earn a lot more.

Here is my plan of attack First of all, I will revise the website by adding more content to it. It only has two articles on it right now. Then I will write another article that I will submit to numerous article directories. Next I will try to figure out why certain sites are appearing on page one by examining their backlinks and the anchor texts that they are using. Afterwards, I will try to obtain the same or similar backlinks. Now, for the waiting game. I will just let the site sit for 2-3 months until the backlinks have been validated by the search engines. Wish me luck and of course I will let you know how it turns out.

The Evolution Of My Make Money Online Blog

I love adding to my domain portfolio. It increases my future passive income !

I decided to make an update on the direction that my make money online blog is going. This is my very first blog and I enjoy posting to it.

I am in the midst of changing gears with my portfolio in general. I plan on adding even more domains to my portfolio. The amount of time that I will spend on setting up each domain will be reduced since I need to expand the number of sites that I own.

One problem that I have personally is that instead of working on adding building backlinks to my site, I try something and then I check the changes in traffic.  I have decided to check only weekly my statistics for traffic.

I am still a newbie and this blog’s main focus is outlining my journey towards building a dependable passive income. The mistakes that have made and the progress will be showcased for all to read

My blog will still cover the general niche of making money online of course. Nevertheless, I will try to explain the reasoning for the trying out of different methods and the end results of these experiments.  For instance, I read a great post on one of favorite sites bloggernoob that made me realize that investing in the growth of your portfolio is the way to go. Spending lots of money on testing advertising is sometimes very risky and investing in adding value to your domain empire is much more logical.

This doesn’t mean that I am going to buy hundreds of domain names tomorrow.  It just means that I will continue to add to my portfolio in a controlled fashion. I will develop each and every one that I have as quickly as possible. After a site is launched, the linking phrase that involves lots of grunt work will start. I will spend 70-80 percent of my time building backlinks. Before I was devoting only about 25 percent of my time setting up links to my blog.

I will keep you updated as often as possible on my progress with this new approach.

Time Management For Blogging And Building Domain Portfolio

Wait, time to take a break, I need my goofblogger daily fix.

First of all, you have to decide what you would like to accomplish over the next year or so. My goals are to launch at least 50 different domains over the next year that will each have unique content and will be generating enough income to cover their registration fees. Another goal that I have is to build this blog to a level that the income will allow me to farther expand my portfolio.

Once you have set your goals, you will to need to prioritize them. In order to be able to increase portfolio, my main income generator will be this blog. This blog will be paying the hosting fees for all of the other sites that I currently own, so it has to prosper.

Now that you have prioritized your goals,  break down the daily routine for accomplishing your goals and try your best to stick to it.  Personally, as time permits during the day, I will post to this main blog. Then I will spend some time marketing this blog. The marketing time should be about equivalent or even more than the time spent writing the daily post. If any extra time remains, I will then work on launching another site.

Of course, I still plan on having some sort of social life. You need to stay fresh. If you post, market, and develop new sites with all of your spare time, you will burn out. You just have to keep striving to make some sort of headway on a daily basis, even if it is minuscule on an extra busy day.
