Purchasing Domain Names
Purchasing domain names doesn’t have to be a scary process. It is ok to make mistakes in the beginning. The cost nowadays for domain names is so cheap that it will not break you financially. Unless of course you buy hundreds of stupid useless domain names without thinking or planning beforehand.
I had purchased too many strange names in the beginning. I thought that if I can find a domain name that had just two dictionary words included together without dashes that I was going to make big bucks just selling the domains shortly afterward. Purchasing domain names is not rocket science, but to do it correctly does require a little bit of thought.
Make sure that you research different phrases, before purchasing domain names, that are typed in relatively often into search engines and that have low competition. Don’t register a super long tailed phrases just because you have heard the phrase spoken one time last month. Choose a phrase that has at least 250 type-ins per month and 10,000 or less sites on the internet trying to exploit that particular phrase. Your chances of registering a domain name that can be sold easily or developed to make money online are now much higher.
The software package that I use on a daily basis to pick great phrases is micro niche finder . Its newest update makes it super easy to zero in on powerful niches. You should try it out and let me know how it works out for you.

Hi Goofblogger, Nice post…I also first started in buying several domain names. I did make a good chunk on one name but havn’t moved any since. Like you said things are not moving as fast as they were before. But there is still money to be made out there. Good info for all of us.
