Make Money Online Purchasing Expired Domains

Buying expired domains that will generate income is tricky. Do not assume that you will be able to keep the PR that is associated to the domain. If the backlinks are to deeply rooted pages in the domain, those backlinks may no longer be relevant if you buy the domain with zero content.

Buy expired domains that have great keywords within the domain names. Great keywords are more likely to get type-in traffic. Also, if there is regular traffic  to the domain, then you can easily forward that traffic to another site that you have that is within the same niche.

I had registered a domain name that I did not realize still had  backlinks. At the time, I had no idea  why backlinks were important . I have that domain parked presently and it is getting some traffic . I have earned about 70 cents on it during the last month. That amount will cover its future registration fee if it continues to earn on average that amount per month. This proves that if you do even a tiny bit of research on the history of expired domain names, that you may find a few gems that still have traffic.

Here is a system that I had not tested yet, but I will do so in the near future. Use freshdrop.net to find expired domains that still have PR and backlinks. Once you have a short list of interesting domains, check whether or not there are getting traffic using estibot. Estibot will also tell you their rankings in Alexa.

The system above should provide you with a few domains that you can purchase using a buy now function via the freshdrop.net site. I actually found a domain that still has 188 backlinks,  a PR of 1, and some traffic for a bid price of $5. I still have sites that I need to add content to or I would buy it myself.
