Using Firefox for Managing Multiple Blogs
Are you crazy ? Isn’t one blog enough to handle ?
I decided that I would be write a small series of posts showing the steps that I am taking towards managing multiple blogs at the same.
A good step to take is to use the wonderfully browser firefox to set-up multiple profiles. Each profile will be for a separate blog. I first starting trying to just use separate folders for each blog in my bookmarks section on the default profile. I discovered that multiple passwords and sorting through the maze of other bookmarks and folders was driving me nuts.
To create multiple profile, first of all, close your firefox browser. Then click on start and then run. Enter the following into the run function : firefox -ProfileManager. This will open a small that will allow you to create several different profiles. Create one for each of your blogs.
Make sure that you have unclicked the ‘don’t ask at startup’ section so that when firefox first opens you can control which profile is activated.
Now you will have a nice and clean slate to use for each blog with all of the passwords and bookmarks that are specific to each blog.
